Eve Stano is the Collections Development and Electronic Resources Librarian at Ball State University in Indiana. She spent several years in public libraries furthering an interest in collection development before transitioning to academic libraries. She has been a book reviewer and freelance writer for Library Journal for over eight years. She is currently a member of the Academic Libraries of Indiana Mentorship Committee, working to develop state-wide mentorship resources for academic librarians at any stage of their career. Early in 2020, she added e-resources management to her responsibilities in addition to collection development. Being the sole electronic resources librarian at a large research university, Eve has put self-learning to the test and hopes to share some tools, knowledge and resources with other librarians managing e-resources to help make their own self-learning journey a little easier.
